Heritage Practice in Contested Spaces

The Heritage Practice in Contested Spaces seminar took place in Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre, Limavady on 23-23 September 2013.

Heritage Practice in Contested Spaces Seminar was an exciting participatory learning opportunity developed by Causeway Museum Service in collaboration with partners ranging from local community groups to international organisations.

Over the 4 days it provided participants with a practical hands-on opportunity to explore and develop practice, evaluate the impact of heritage work in our communities and the chance to engage with international practitioners and academics to benchmark their work.  It looked at a range of impressive local work in a wider context with "learning to learn" as a key objective.

This seminar and the associated work is relevant to everyone who engages with or uses heritage in their work
